Ongoing: The “Unveiling the Painted Curtain” exhibit is still in Morlan Gallery. Come check it out!
Also Ongoing: Julia Sebastian’s exhibit “Anomalies” is on display in the Shearer Art Building’s student gallery until the Sept. 28. This exhibit challenges physical disfigurements and the way they are culturally perceived. Sounds nifty. … Hope you get to take a look for yourself!
Today: Dr. John Siegfried of Vanderbilt University gives an economics lecture in the Cowgill Center, room 103, at 3 p.m.
Sept. 26: Legal and constitutional historian William Wiecek delivers the first Harlan Lecture in Carrick Theater at 7:30 p.m. This new lecture series is free and open to the public.
Sept. 30: The Deloreans perform live in Back Circle at 5 p.m. (or in the Campus Center if it’s raining).
Also Sept. 30: Transy junior Paul Brown’s first solo exhibit, “The Prayer Project,” opens at the Land of Tomorrow Gallery at 6 p.m. The gallery is at 527 East Third Street, just a short walk from campus! It runs until Oct. 2, so make sure you get over there before it’s gone.
